🎸 The Road to Summerfest Returns!

We’re excited to announce that the School of Rock Omaha House Band is headed back to Summerfest 2025—and we’re kicking things off with our annual Road to Summerfest Fundraiser Show at The Waiting Room on April 19, noon–4 PM! Join us for an afternoon of live music, raffles, bake sale treats, BBQ lunch, and fun for the whole family. There’s no cover, but your generous donations help get our young rockers to the big stage. We have an incredible lineup of prizes including concert tickets, gift cards to local businesses, home goods, and autographed band posters!

Future of Rock Festival Lineup and call for Volunteers

Mark your calendars—our first annual Future of Rock Festival is coming to Ralston on May 17, and it’s all about amplifying the next generation of musicians! This all-day, family-friendly event will feature teen-led bands, local food trucks, vendor booths, and hands-on activities—plus opportunities to connect with music education programs from across the Omaha area. We’re actively seeking sponsors and partners to help us make this event unforgettable. If your business would like to get involved—or if you can help spread the word—we’d love your support!

We are also looking for volunteers to help with everything from checking tickets, to keeping the games and activities tidied and helping bands swap in and out. Additionally, if you have any professional sound equipment (guitar amplifiers or PAs) you would be willing to let us use for the show, please reach out! New YouTube Channel and “Meet the Band” Series

We were fortunate enough that Richard and Margie at Webberized Podcast Production donated some booth time for us to record interviews with all of the bands we will be featuring at the Future of Rock Festival next month in our new “Meet the Band” series.
